About Gerding Contracting LLC
Gerding Ditching, part of Gerding Contracting, is a Fort Jennings company that has been family owned since 1911 and is now run by fourth-generation owners Jesse and Casslyn Gerding. Farm drainage remains its main work, but the firm also installs septic systems suited to each property, inspects existing systems and handles septic maintenance and repairs. It begins each job with a consultation and site evaluation. Excavation, demolition and water and sewer line work round out its services in Putnam County.
